Dr. Christoper P. Hart, B.Sc., B.D.Sc. (Hons), M.Phil (Cantab)
Dr Hart brings over 25 years of experience across all facets of dentistry, with a particular focus on complex dentistry, aesthetic reconstruction, and airway management. He graduated from the University of Queensland with an Honours Degree in Dentistry and a Science Degree in Biochemistry and Physiology, before completing a Master of Philosophy in Biomedical Science at Cambridge University.
Currently, Dr Hart is the Owner and Principal Dentist at Tweed Dental, as well as CEO & Founder of iHeart Sleep. He has also founded Oventus Medical, Dental Sleep Care Alliance, the Life Time Smiles Group, and the Australasian Institute of Reconstructive Dentistry, created to train clinicians in craniofacial pain, airway management, and advanced complex dentistry. He also co-founded National Dental Care.
Throughout his career, Dr Hart has been at the forefront of innovation in both technology and patient care, transforming the lives of thousands across Australia and North America. Today, he is committed to delivering the highest standard of treatment to patients throughout the Southern Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
His expertise spans complex restorative dentistry, implants, and aesthetic reconstruction. In addition, he continues to pioneer new treatments for sleep apnoea patients who cannot tolerate CPAP, offering life-changing solutions across Australia and the United States.

Treatment costs depend on the specific treatment and the complexity of your case. We provide a written quote covering the full fee before any treatment begins, so there are no surprises. Most private health funds with extras cover contribute to general and some major dental work, and we process claims on the spot through HICAPS at both clinics. Payment plans are available through Smile Right, PayPal, Square, Afterpay and Humm, with terms, fees and eligibility criteria set by each provider. Please contact us for an estimate tailored to your treatment plan.
We use local anaesthetic for any procedure that would otherwise be uncomfortable, along with topical numbing gel before injections, and we work at a pace you control. Most patients report little or no discomfort during treatment. Some tenderness afterwards is normal for certain procedures, and we will explain what to expect and how to manage it before you leave. If you feel anxious about dental treatment, let us know when you book so we can allow extra time and talk through your options.
